Here's how to size a belt: 

1. Take your true waist size.

2. Add 2".  That belt size will put you in the middle hole of the belt.

Example:  True waist size 30. You would want a 32" belt, putting you in the middle hole, accounting for both bloaty and skinny days.  They happen.
